Ahh it's that time of the week again and this week it's come to me so easily.
This week i am grateful for sleep. That long solid sleep where you wake up feeling so refreshed, rejuvenated and like a new person.
Not grateful because i had it. No siree, no sleep in this house over the last week combined with waking children, sickness and aches and pains, but i know eventually, right before you are about to check yourself into the looney bin because you haven't slept in so long. Eventually sleep will return to me, the aches will dull, my health will heal.
What are you grateful for?

Fingers crossed that you're able to rejuvenate in the Land of Z very soon.

I so get that! It was me 2 weeks ago. The feeling is the best when you wake up in the morning and realise, yes it is morning and the little ones sleep through the whole night! Then follows the dash around the house to make sure, yes they are still in there beds and breathing.
ReplyDeleteoh tell me about it! I had a long sleep one night...but not so rejuvenated... I hope get some good long rejuvenating sleep soon!
ReplyDeleteIt will happen Miss Pink. It will! Pinky swear. (Get it? Pinky.... oh, ok.)

Oooh, yes! sleep is great! I remember that longing for sleep from when we moved into the place here and the cat kept waking us up every hour or so... *blagh*
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh! Checking out your post at 3:00am in the morning, thinking.. I really should go back to bed and SLEEP. Oh well, today I'll include a Nanna Nap :)
ReplyDeleteOh I hope that sleep returns to you super soon :). I'd settle for a night without weird dreams! Lol
ReplyDeleteOh one of those nights of sleep. Mmmm... I remember those!
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Grateful Saturday. I know what you mean. I have been waking at 3 am every day this week. Both my kids sleep through, but now I suffer from insomnia. I am cursed, I tell you, I am cursed!
ReplyDeleteWishing you some sweet slumber soon!
Just when you think you can't cope any longer, the sleep god grants you 4 hours sleep in a row. Geez, I hope the sleep god remembers me tonight! And you too of course!
ReplyDeleteI too am visiting from "Grateful".
Ooooooh - sleep - oh for that sweet, beautiful stranger to visit by here again!!! Fingers crossed you get a visit too. Visiting via gratefuls.
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful that despite not having a decent nights sleep in more years than I can count on one hand, I have never given up hope. Rest well. x
