2011 has passed. It has been a tough year for me personally, but just another part of the roller coaster that is life.
2012 is on our doorstep and it smells fresh. A chance for a clean slate?
I'm not one to make resolutions. As soon as I label a resolution it's stamped with FAIL.
This year in an attempt to give myself some direction that isn't doomed from the start I am setting myself some goals. Bloggy goals. Twelve just to match in with 2012, or perhaps one for each month?
Here are my bloggy goals for 2012. It features boobs, booze and dancing shoes. In no particular order;
A long bloggy conversation with Brenda, Grace and Maria. These ladies have so much advice, and knowledge on the business side of blogging I don't think I could ever stop learning from them.
Go shopping with Nikki from Styling You. I don't need to explain this one do I?
Have shots and cocktails with GGMH and Kellie from GBU. Kellie is our honorary Westie from the dirty dirty South baby! Errr this one might take a while though.
Spoon with Glowless. She'd be great to spoon with, and I know you'd be jealous of how close I'd be to that hair. Actually in all seriousness I'd love to sit with Glow and pick up on all her make up tips and tricks. She'd be fabulously fun to learn from.
Get a tattoo with Lori from RRSAHM. She has found a really hot tattooist apparently, and I don't mind a bit of a perve with my permanent decoration.
I want to shake shake shake my booty with Jess, Gemma, Kristyn and Nathalie. Those ladies would be fabulous dancers. Time to practice my robot.
To wine and dine Madam Bipolar aka Sawhole. Have you not met her yet? She is the bee's knee's.
Preform a craniotomy on Emma from What's in Emma's Brain? to finally find out what exactly IS in Emma's brain.
Have a big O with Mrs Woog. She'd be perfect to get my O on with. Vodka O that is. Wait, did you think I meant the other kind?
Enjoy a long delicious lunch with Stacey from Veggie Mama and Zoey from GoodGoogs. I think these two ladies could introduce me to some new food habits, and we all know I love my food.
I want to chill with Eden for a day. She is so fucking zen man, and she has perspective you cannot teach. She makes me feel less like a freak.
Have Kristin from Wanderlust flash me her Victoria's Secret. She's got a great set of boobs you know.
What are your goals for 2012? Maybe you can be a part of mine?
These are not ALL of my goals, there are so many more of you I want to meet, but it's hard to fit it all into 12 goals.

187 more days and then another say 365 of breastfeeding at least THEN you, me, Kel and cocktails. YES!
ReplyDeleteWould love to shop with you! Love your resolutions BTW - bring on 2012!
ReplyDeletegreat goals! Good luck with them
ReplyDeleteOh, you have no idea how to drink until you're out with me. Blessed with a No Hangover Gene, I just keep going, knowing I shall not suffer the next day....
ReplyDeleteAwww. Here's to a fab 2012!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to wine and dine. March 29!
ReplyDeleteYou are fucking gorgeous. Let's chill XXX
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky I am easily satified with food in the meantime! :D
ReplyDeleteAchievable, right? And they can work double powers because then I can blog about them!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteI do not get a hangover either. I do however go a nice shade of green after one too many.
ReplyDeleteYEAH!! I will be your welcoming party.
ReplyDeleteYou know, we almost drove to the Blue Mountains today. Then I realised it would be silly because it is summer and you only go to the Blue Mountains when you want to be cold.
ReplyDeleteI think we will have to do it these holidays though. So beautiful there, and I really never have been out that way in summer. Only winter.
You are ON my love! (for the vodka bit, not the other xx)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a totally do able list
ReplyDeleteOh there is a squillion shiny things in there xxxxx
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to put Mr Woog out of the job, seeing as it's detramental to his hyperactivity and all ;)
ReplyDeleteOoooh I like shiny things. I may get distracted by them, hope you don't mind.
ReplyDeleteAhh I see you've played knifey spoony before!!! Best goal list ever x
ReplyDeleteI clicked on over because I, too, am thinking Fuck resolutions. I think I'll fly by the seat of my pants this year. Love the shout outs to some awesome ladies!
ReplyDeleteWill you share your tips and tricks with me in person? PUH-LEASE! (Don't make me beg!)
ReplyDeleteResoluations make me feel like they highlight my failures. If I were to set resolutions, i'd set them monthly and review because really, I'm not going to go for runs in July, and I'm not going to watch what I eat in December, so I'd rather look at what I can do over the next 4-5 weeks. Start small and build up to something bigger.
ReplyDeleteI would love to achieve just one of those goals! Enjoy seeking them out :o)
ReplyDeleteSeriously reading that I'm thinking that would be like a 'doco' that most aussie bloggers would watch. Bit like the 52 jobs in a year, only interesting...
ReplyDeleteI could seriously benefit with some makeup tips from glowless, and I'm hoping (given I was so bloody uptight at the last conference) that I will get my boggie on too.
Love your post.
Hope to see you on the dancefloor!
