Shoe's Fit For A Fairytale

Once upon a time there was a girl who wanted to prove she was as tough as any of the boys out there. Her wardrobe consisted of a lot of denim and a lot of canvas. Jeans were worn everywhere and hi-tops were her shoe of choice, and yep, she shuffled the night away in night clubs wearing those dancing shoes before LMFAO made it cool.

Children came along, and she laughed at the thought of wearing something so uncomfortable.
Slowly, as her world filled with snakes, snails and puppy dogs tails she craved pretty things. Girly things. Pink things.
Dresses and wedges made a fast appearance in her wardrobe for adventures when a baby wasn't growing in her tummy or being held in her arms.

Who knew that a few years later she would be able to not only strut in a pair of high heels but also shuffle like a mofo in them?

Cinderella may have held conversations with rodents but the one thing she got right is that shoes really are important.

There was a time I would have rolled my eyes at the thought of a wardrobe just for shoes. I was strictly a 3 pair girl. Now I could spend the day petting pretty shoes and the idea of a wardrobe to house as many as I like? BLISS!

I fall in love with pretty shoes quickly, and often find they don't have my size in the store. I usually then spend weeks thinking about those shoes and how many outfits I could plan to wear with them.
This is where being able to look up women's shoes online is handy. Look at it as increasing the cast of your net. You're hitting more stores in one search and you may even find them on sale in one of those stores!

Now move over because I want that sparkly pair!

  1. I spend most days wearing joggers cause my legs and feet are much happier for it, but just recently I've been thinking I need to be a bit prettier sometimes. I got myself a gorgeous pair of spring sandals from KMart and am loving the bit of femininity, and all the target posts on shoes are making me very envious!
